(S29) PT 1 - Training Camp

The Arizona Outlaws' training camp was a bittersweet affair. Without Arizona stalwart prankster Saba Donut putting on pads, the team was a little flat, but with the recent callups of Fergus Callaghan Jr and Glenn Smart from London, some youth and fresh energy was injected. Both seemed keen to absorb knowledge from veterans Galf Wilf and Plop Miller.

There was a small amount of controversy when Rich Triplet's personal lawyer Augustus von Heimlich came to the camp to count the number of full contact snaps his client was taking - to ensure that ISFL Players' Union limits were not exceeded - but the ever resourceful career backup Gunner Thorbjornsson managed to distract him by hiring him to file some name changing papers. Gunner didn't really have anything in mind for this name change, so he came up with the first name he could think of. Triplet got plenty enough snaps to prepare him for the season, but Gunner is now called Deadly Memes. God help us.

Legendary outlaws cornerback Desmond Scarlett, feeling the effects of father time, gracefully accepted his new role playing nickel - a role which allows him to berate linebacker L'Gazzy Burfict for blown coverages much more quickly.

Overall, Arizona looked just as sharp as they had in the previous couple of seasons, and are looking forward to getting onto the field.
