While it is certainly not my first rodeo with Training Camp, it is always fun to see how the rookies react to it on their first go around. By the time I got there on the first day, 10 minutes early, all the rookies were already in their pads doing drills or stretching, the 2nd and 3rd-year players were warming up on the sideline and chit-chatting while anyone else with multi-years of experience with the Sailfish was waiting on the sideline for the coach to tell us what to do. I know the rookies are fighting for a spot on the team, but they certainly are overdoing it a bit haha. You can only be so good at the game of football! While I do the warm-ups with the full team, the very few special teamers are honestly just a cheering squad for the rest of the team in the stands or working out at the far end of the field so we don't get in the way of the offense and the defense well that is until they need us for in-game workouts or the coach needs us for something specific. It's always great to get the pads back on after the off-season and a new season is a new time to shine, I really think we'll shine after how hard we worked in training camp.
