(S29) PT 1 - Training Camp

The offseason has ended and my offseason training program out in Maui with @Ace has finally come to an end. It was nice to catch up with him again after spending so much time on the Royals together. Running through drills with my mentor and someone I looked up to was a driving factor to getting better, and CJ knows that I need to be pushed to be the best that I can be. I showed up bright and early at 5 AM on the first day of training camp, the first one there. In my eyes, that means everyone else on the team was late, but especially our K/P Matthew McDairmid. In fact, as I am writing this post, McDarmid still has not shown up for anything yet. No film, no meals, no workouts, no drills. We’re beginning to put together a search party as no one has heard a word from our beloved kicker. Moving past that, this training camp really set the tone in San Jose, this is going to be one hell of a defense. Hard hitting, ball to the nose, hawking in the air. Don’t be surprised if this ends up being one of the better all around units at the end of the season.
