This year's training camp has hit in a different way than those of the past. Every wide receiver I worked with in San Jose is now gone and I need to learn how to adapt with a new teammate in Campbell. He has had a very impressive camp and I think him and Monty are clicking extremely well. While last season was a downer for our team I think Campbell will breath some new life into us and we will surprise a few people this season. In addition to a new wide receiver, we here at San Jose also are working with our QB of the future Panda McKyle. I have only worked with Monty since I joined the team in S26 so it is a different experience to be catching balls from a new player during drills. McKyle has been learning quickly and I am excited to have him lead this team at some point in the future. Monty has been doing a fantastic job mentoring the young quarterback and is gracious in using his time to help his successor learn. I have seen those two pouring over film after practice to help breakdown mechanics and defenses. The culture of this team is so special and the bonding that has gone on during training camp leaves me no doubt that we are ready for this season to begin.
