Training camp was very interesting experience for Davriel Lavigne this year. As this was the first year he would be practising and training in a position unknown to him. During the last offseason, the defensive cordinator for the Hahalua had been busy working up new plans and schemes for the upcoming season and Lavigne seemed to be the perfect fit to move into the role of a cornerback. Lavigne was contacted regarding this decision and agreed to switch over to the corner and start practising that position. This will have great effect on the upcoming season as Lavigne will have to get familiar and comfortable with an unkown position to maximize on results. Luckily for Lavigne he was able to work together with veteran Jim Waters, who many know as one of the greatest corners in Hahalua history. Waters was able to help Lavigne out and give him all the tips and tricks to excel at the role. Lavigne has reported that this made the whole switch a lot easier and has confience in his preformance come game time. Soon Waters and Lavigne will be the two corners and be a force to be reckoned with as the Hahalua look to capitalize on their excellent defensive players.
