(S29) PT 1 - Training Camp

This training camp was a big deal for Yeboah and the Austin Copperheads. Going in to the regular season they are fancied as one of the teams to go far in the playoffs and possibly go for a Ultimus. After getting to the Ultimus last season but losing to Yellowknife they have brought back basically the whole team apart from a couple of players and are looking to go one further this season.

Training camp resulted in a lot of changes for Tony Yeboah. The biggest change being he is no longer called Tony Yeboah. He’s changed from Tony Yeboah to Annie May. This name change occurred due to Yeboah being a charitable guy and putting his own name up for auction. The auction was won by his own team’s quarterback, Jackie Daytona. Daytona, a known anime lover, decided to give Yeboah, a known anime hater, the name Annie May. He now also looks like a standard anime girl instead of looking like the real Tony Yeboah. After Annie changed her name then her likeness it was near the end of training camp and it was time to get ready for the regular season.

Most of the team also showed up towards the end of the regular season and after they got a win in week 1 against Honolulu, their lack of preparation showed as they lost the next three games to slip to a 1-3 record.
