Training camp was intense for the Grey ducks, firstly the veterans got told all the call ups, which were few however big names like Tim Soulja, Gluteus Maximus and Anton Bruckner were revealed to have been called up and there was a big party for them, next the new Ducklings were brought in and introduced to the team, getting to know the next generation was as always one of the best parts of the training camp, after that the veterans, Daniel O’Leary included, took them through preparations and started training, Daniel being one of the oldest remaining was one of the main players that led the drills and lead player meetings, Daniel also thought that Tim Soulja was really late to the camp before finding out he was called up, as he fazed out when he was told of the roster change. One of the special plays the Greyducks played around with was a triple quarterback trick play, as two other outfield players were once QB’s and so could be used in trick plays however the practice did not yield results. The camp overall was a great one and the players will be wanting to show the promise in the regular season based on what they showed in the camp, especially the defence.
