(S29) PT 1 - Training Camp

John Huntsman came off of a solid rookie season and wanted to avoid the infamous sophomore slump. Huntsman was the first to report on the offensive side and began working hard on improving his all around game. Unfortunately he worked very hard his rookie season too and quickly realized he can only improve so much because of his station as a DSFL player. No one knows for sure why this is how it is. Some people speculate that the training staff only knows how to handle players with a grade of 249 or less. After that, they cannot handle how to progress their players any further.

Training camp was a bit weird this year. Anton Bruckner did not report to Minnesota training camp because he got called up to the big leagues. And future Grey Duck hall of famer, Gluteus Maximus is no longer on the team as well. So workouts were much easier this season. At the end of training camp for the season David Frank and John Huntsman got honored with team captains. Both captains have big plans for their respective sides of the ball and have been showing off some creative wrinkles against each other in training camp scrimmages.
