As the season enters the quarter of the way, I do see some surprises from the game records. I did not expect Butchers and Hahalua to rank the last in the two conferences. In fact, both teams had relatively high TPEs. Chicago Butchers have six players with more than 1000 TPEs, and Hahalua has seven such players. To some extent, the problem with Butchers is the Sim randomness - they lost to Liberty and Hawks in two games with very close points (L34-31, L36-29). Butchers also had another close loss to Otters (L9-6). Butchers' offense points and losses are not the worst - their PF is higher than both Hawks and Liberty, and their PA is lower. I think Butchers can bounce back in the next phase of the season. The picture about Hahalua seems different. Although Hahalua's TPEs are very high, their offensive line seems weak. The weak offensive line limits their scored points significantly for every game. It is hard to get good players for the offensive line, specifically during the half of the season, so it would be difficult for Hahalua to bounce back. I am quite happy with Salfish's performance - I know it is an amazing team, but the current rank #1 does exceed my expectations. I hope we can hold the current position and continue into the playoffs.
