I have a sort of grim and half-grudging half-reverent respect for anyone that plays/played EVE seriously and consistently.  The time and resource commitment, depth of simulation, and perma-death just blow me away.  Someone that did all that shit while I was picking flowers in between doing a heal rotation in vanilla WoW raids... yea.  Props.

I used to play quite a bit...probably my favorite gaming experience. It's pretty community oriented so when your community slows down it's easy to do the same.
