A quarter of the way through the season your player receives a letter requesting they show up for a young fan's birthday party. Do they go? If so, what do they do to make the day memorable for the child? If not, why?
Kai Marshall cares about two things; football, and his native country, Australia. Not a lot of American football players come from Australia, there they have a completely different game that might be similar to American football at first glance, but in reality, it is not. It is rare for him to receive letters from fellow Aussies because of this, but whenever he does, he makes sure to respond back. It was no different with eleven year old Tucker Smith. Tucker wrote in a letter:
Dear Kai,
My name is Tucker, and I am a huge fan. I am from Darwin, Australia, same as you! I look up to you and hope to be just like you someday. I was wondering if you would like to come to my twelfth birthday party on Saturday to play some American football with us.
With that, Kai was sold. He bought a plane ticket back to his home town of Darwin to come visit Tucker. Soon enough, half the city showed up to greet Kai. Kai's love for Australia has not faded, even while he lives in Norfolk Virginia as a DSFL player. He ended up getting Tucker a didgeridoo, Australia's native instrument, and a 500 dollar Fortnite gift card since he figured Tucker would never use the didgeridoo.
