Oh Captain, my Captain where would be without thee. Jacob Small has been a primary producer on the Sarasota Sailfish I believe he is the points leader on the team. He is currently 33 of 34 for extra points made and his field goal percentage has had some falters, but Jacob Small is perfect from within 40 yards. Which is what you need. So far Small has made 1 field goal within twenty yards, eight field goals in the range of twenty to twenty-nine yards and has eight field goals on eight attempts from the thirty to thirty nine yard line. Now we get to kicks in the range of forty to forty-nine yards where small has faltered a bit. He has five of eight attempts for kicks that are of that distance and is two for five for kicks that are fifty yards or greater. Nailing a fifty-five yard kick. Needless to say, He’s still pumping out the points offensively and is dependable within forty yards.
I want to positively hype up someone specifically from the sarasota defense, but everyone is popping off and they really are playing off each other this season. Starting out with Michael Withablock leading the league in sacks with eleven who has clearly been positively enabled by Ed Lover 2nd on the team in tackles with sixty-five . who has really popped off in performance this year on defense has been. Our secondary has also popped off having two of the league leaders in interceptions with Harrison Andrews and Cuco Clemente each with five which is probably due to our cornerbacks sticking onto WRs and our D-line forcing quarterbacks to throw into bad throwing situations.
