For the Sarasota Sailfish who sit at 7-3, second in their division and pushing for a top seed finish, it seems that all of Demon Jaxsons teammates have been performing at a high level this season. However, it is safe to say, the one who is performing at the highest level for the fishe, and elevating the rest of the team to perform at such a high level too, is quarterback Mike Boss Jr.. This season, Boss Jr. is having a career year stats wise completing 261 passes for 3081 yards, with a TD - INT ratio of 26 - 9 at the time of writing, ten games into the season. This outstanding level of play has allowed everyone else on the Sarasota offense to prosper, and helped the team win games, but on a personal level for MBJ, it has done wonders for his awards push as he sits firmly in the MVP race, neck and neck with a few other candidates. The high performers not only come on offense though, but on the defensive side of the ball as well, such as newly swapped linebacker Mike Witheblock, who leads the league in sacks. This forces opposing offenses to double team him, giving the rest of the defense big opportunities as well.
