Jaja Dingdong. His love for pancakes grows wide and long.Through 10 weeks of this glorious season, Jaja is averaging 9 pancakes per game. Nine. Most people are capable of eating roughly 2-3 full-sized pancakes in a sitting, but Jaja is seemingly unphased by the fluffy delights. Defensive linemen get thrown back like school children. Maybe even more impressive that the pancakes is the fact that he has, thus far, escaped without a sack allowed on his record. That may not sound shocking at first, but San Jose has allowed the 3rd most sacks this season. So for him to be squeaky clean is actually quite the accomplishment.
Interestingly, Jaja was not always into pancakes, but had dabbled before. In S26, he was a Tight End for the Sabercats, and notched 30 pancakes in a 16-game season. That’s all it took for him to catch the bug. In the offseason, he worked with Tim Pest on bulking up and gaining even more strength. He officially made the move to Offensive Line during the S27 season, and now he is feasting. He is top of the pile through 10 weeks, and shows no signs of slowing down. With 6 weeks left, Dingdong has his eyes on the single season record for pancakes, and by god, I think he’ll get it!
