Despite an awful record from Austin this season, the team is not playing like a 1 win 8 loss and 1 tie team. Zoe Watts is a very good example of this. Watts is 7th in the league in Rushing. Not only is she racking up some good rushing yards, she is tied for the most yards per rush at 5.2 with Cobra Kai and Nicholas Ayers. Watts has been absolutely electric for us this season and if Austin wants to get their second win of the season, they may want to start giving Watts more touches on the football. Videl-San is another great example of our players outperforming our terrible record. Videl-San is 5th in receiving yards and has the most yards per catch of anyone in the league at 18. The next closest yards per catch is Kai Sakura at 16.3. So Videl-San is up in that category by a good margin. On the defensive side, Brach Thomaslacher leads the league in tackles with 73 and Tyler Mountain is tied for 7th with 67. Owen Isaac leads the league in tackles for a loss with 8 and Dex Kennedy is tied for second with 6. Kennedy is also tied with Jack Banks for most forced fumbles. Kennedy also is tied for first in fumbles recovered (among defensive players). Thomaslacher and Mountain are also both tied for 4th in sacks with 9 and Kennedy is tied for 9th with 8. Mountain is also one of 10 players with a safety.
