The teammate I wanted to talk about in today's PT would be my fellow rookie wide receiver Cliff Burton. Cliff has been a huge help to the Birddogs over this first half of the season, as he has dominated in these first seven games, racking up on average a touchdown per game along with over 400 receiving yards and plenty of huge, game-breaking catches. Ricky has done better than expected in this opening part of the season, and a big part of that is the help of his receiving core, and especially guys like Burton who have been able to carry the load. If he can stay for another season and continues to rack up TPE, there's no telling how far this crew of QB and WR could go in the DSFL, seeing as they are already doing great even while still needing to earn more TPE and getting closer to that DSFL cap of 250 TPE. Cliff is also a good presence in the locker room, and it's been plenty of fun to cheer Cliff on as he barrels his way towards potential honors as a great wide receiver on this Birddogs squad. Ricky will definitely continue to rack up the passes with Cliff and show this league what the two of them can do in this potentially special DSFL season for Dallas.
