If you have been following the Grey Ducks at all, you should already know we are doing really well… to say the least! And in all our success, the most successful Grey Duck of all has been none other than our stand our running back, John Huntsman! I can say with the utmost certainty that he is the front runner for the DSFL league MVP right now. Just 7 weeks in, he leads the league in rushing with 992 yards and 9 touchdowns. That is 200+ yards and 2 TDs over second place and nearly double that over third. What is even better than a projected 2000-yard season, is that he broke the single game rushing record since the new sim! …Twice!! Once for 200 yards then the very next game, he turned around and ran for 201 just to flex and prove he was that good.

Now all that in itself is impressive, but to do it all on this stacked team is even moreso because he is not even taking away opportunities from the other offensive players. The quarterback Oles had a record passing TD game with 5 and our rookie receiver Mason Malone is on pace for Offensive Rookie of the Year as well! I just hope his production continues because while regular season performances are fun, I would much rather have the Ultimini title than the rushing record. In the meantime, go Huntsman!
