10. Big Slammu (born November 7, 2019) is an American Football Linebacker for the Yellowknife Wraiths. He is 6'5, 265 pounds out of Jackson, Wyoming. Star Recruit from Jackson Hole Highschool, Big Slammu finished his highschool career playing three different positions. Namely, Defensive End, Outside Linebacker and Strong Safety. He was a man among boys (literally), as he towered over the competition. After a state wide commission after his freshman year on the Varstity team where he set a new state record of 38 sacks, 23 forced fumbles, and over 300 tackles, Big Slammu was allowed to continue playing football in his shark form, as he is able to morph into a shark at will. Big Slammu stated animal discrimination, and intolerance which ultimately led to the state recanting it's efforts to permanently ban him from playing football in the state of Wyoming. His human name was Coop Bolton, but Slammu was wont to walk around in his shark form around school grounds and at that point, favoured his shark identity.
The youngest of four brothers, Coop Bolton aka Big Slammu is more famous for his reality television spot in the hit show, "Street Sharks". Widely known as the strongest Street Shark (but certainly not the smartest), Big Slammu popularized what he called the "Seismic Slam" a devastating move he used against bad guys, but now against QBs. After being given the green light to play Highschool football in Wyoming, Big Slammu continued to devastate the competition. Unfortunately, many who supported Big Slammu's career in football started to regret the decision as he severely injured and humiliated his opponents on the football field. He was suspended for over half of his games during his last few years in highschool, but still holds numerous highschool football records in the State of Wyoming.
After his tumultuous Highschool career, Big Slammu set his sights on College Football, and specifically Wyoming as his next football stop. Due to his lack lustre academic record, numerous suspensions and character issues Big Slammu found himself with zero offers to continue his journey in football. Determined not to give up, he managed to make it onto the Dallas Birddogs DSFL team.
Dallas is where Big Slammu managed turned it around, being a consistent starter for the Birddogs for the entire season. He even managed to get zero penalties called on him during that season. During the S26 ISFL draft, teams determined that they were willing to take a flyer on the troubled DSFL prospect, and Big Slammu realized his football dream of becoming and ISFL player when he was drafted at the top of the 3rd round to the Wraiths.
21. A few seasons ago, ISFL brass made one of the biggest changes for the ISFL in recent history. There's some big ones, like finally moving on from Jcink, but this one was bigger. This was finally upgrading the sim to the 20th edition of the Draft Day Sports sim. There has been some positives but unfortunately quite a few cons. One of the major cons for me is that most of the offensive records have been broken in the past few seasons. Check the top 10 for any rate, volume stat for passing, receiving or rushing....it is almost a guarantee that the top 10 is dominated by offensive performances from the last few seasons. Now you could argue that this is funner for the player base, but the offensive numbers are akin to S1-S10 levels of insanity and I thought we were trying to move away from that? And no, this is not me moaning about Franklin Armstrong's numbers. Frankly, he didn't have volume numbers anyways, and I didn't want them. Long story short, I would like a reduction in offensive output for the sim, just to preserve the history from seasons past. Now one of the positives, albeit a small one is that the ball can be seen, and punts are better visualized in the sim, making it easier to see what's going on.
