(S30) PT 4 - Tough Loss

I'm not sure if Yellowknife has any true rivals? But there are no friendly rivals or teams either, so perhaps every team in this league is a rival. Certainly losing in the OT does not feel any better against any specific team.

Yellowknife Wraiths is a team full of fierce competitors. After a tight loss to a rival or any team, nothing needs to be said. Everybody in the room knows what happened and what needs to happen next. We need to practice harder and prepare better, so when the next time comes we are the winners. Losing a tight game in the OT is bittersweet. Often the difference between winning and losing is a small detail or an individual error.

If I'm looking at the room from my perspective, it's quiet. The music is not playing. Nobody is explaining or trying to make it better. We lost, that is not acceptable. As I said, everybody knows we should be the winners. If I made a mistake during the game, I will think about that HEAVILY after the game, but errors and mistakes are part of the game. I would make sure those types of errors and mistakes would not happen as often. I'm sure every player will think the same as we have a determined and professional locker room in Yellowknife.
