(S30) PT 4 - Tough Loss

I'm not sure that every player for the Minnesota Ducks feels the same way but for Morpheus Czargyros, the Norfolk Seawolves is his personal biggest rival. Prior to being drafted by the Ducks, which Morpheus dearly loves, Morpheus was in deep talks with the Seawolves and was enamored with the team. The way a younger sibling always looks up to the older one while dearly hoping to outperform them as they grow older, Morpheus aims to make Norfolk regret not drafting him at every opportunity.

But here we are, Morpheus has already tasted the sting of defeat to Norfolk and now needs to ponder what an OT loss to Norfolk would feel like. He'll start with this comment, no loss will dampen his sizzle.

In the locker room, the team is going to pat itself on the back. Going into overtime is no small feat. A game like that must have been hard fought and any good effort must be celebrated, even in light of a loss. Senor Russ, Cody, John Huntsman, those three will probably be the loudest voices of optimism. Better to lose a single game than lose out the entire season. Again, hard fought games should be celebrated despite the outcome. Morpheus, a younger player, is all the better for such outlooks and responds with positivity and excitement for future games to come.
