Berlin's biggest rival over the past couple seasons has got to be New York. We lost to them in the Ultimus, we lost to them in the regular season by a single point, we just can't get over that final hump against them and it has been immensely frustrating. If we were to lose to them again, the team would be pissed off for sure, and Raske would be one of the angriest members on the team. As a rookie and a captain of the defense, he has to be the one to lead the unit to victory. If he has anything less than a great game, especially against the Silverbacks, he'll be especially hard on himself.
Of course, someone has to step up and bring the locker room back from the brink. Tensions are high, and someone needs to unite all the players once again. One man that I know would step up to that kind of challenge is veteran quarterback Nick Kaepercolin. Through eight seasons in the ISFL, Nick has been through some major downswings during the history of the Salamanders. While the team might be going through some tough times now, he's seen the very worst an expansion franchise has to offer. Berlin is the strongest it's ever been in it's short history, and we have to pull everything together to make that final push for the Ultimus.
