When Von Hayes was on the Butchers, the biggest rivals they had were the Yeti, with the Sailfish a close second. Every game against the Yeti, the Butchers were extra motivated the week going into it. Having faced off against them multiple times in the playoffs, there wasn't necessarily a hatred between the two teams, but a fierce competitiveness was injected into every single matchup between the two teams. When the Yeti knocked out the Butchers in the S27 playoffs, the Butchers were completely shocked and taken back. Having tied with the Sailfish for the best record, and playing at home, they were expecting a phenomenal performance against their rivals. Unfortunately, they came up short in their best season since their inaugural season. The locker room was uncomfortable after the game ended, with the offensive players hanging their heads and staying quiet, as the defense was rowdy and pissed off after a lackluster performance from both sides. Arguments would break out as blame for the game would be tossed around as nobody on the team wanted to take the blame. Such a demoralizing loss to a promising season would make almost any football player pissed, so its no surprise that both sides of the ball went after each others throats. Unfortunately, the Butchers would not be able to make it back to the heights that they hit that season, as they had a ridiculously unlucky season, followed by the beginning of a rebuild. Even though the rivalry has completely died since the Butchers haven't performed as well, the old heads on the team still have a hatred of the Yeti brand.
