(S30) PT 4 - Tough Loss

It’s hard to really say who Arizona’s biggest rival is, based on recent history. Obviously there have been the unfortunate results in the playoffs but there is also the fact that Arizona has something of a target on its back, due to the success they have had in the regular season over the last few seasons. The Austin Copperheads are a team that has been known to give us issues in the past and it’s always a close run affair with our divisional rivals. Whenever we see their name pop up next on the schedule, we know we’re going to need the sim to behave itself.

Sarasota have probably been the most consistent though, in terms of competition and if we had faced them a little more frequently then I truly believe that they would be the ones to be singled out. Then, of course, we have the whole playoffs situation, where we have lost to NOLA, then Austin Copperheads and last season, even the New York Silverbacks got in on the action. In each of these seasons, Arizona could easily have gone on and won the Ultimus. On each occasion, we believe we were the better team. On each occasion, I guess we were proved to be wrong. So, I guess our main rival is… the playoffs themselves?!
