(S30) PT 4 - Tough Loss

Our biggest rival in the league is the Silverbacks, because that’s who won the Ultimus last season. We don’t worry about who our rivals were back in the day, that’s old blood. All we care about now is going out there and laying out the best team in the league. Our locker room is tough after every loss, and even some games. We all treat football extremely professionally, so when we take a loss in the season it feels like we just let down all our teammates. When scanning the room, you can see everyone with their head down just keeping to themselves until the coach walks in. Once the coach is there, he brightens up the room and reminds us that this was just another learning opportunity. He knows where we are and what we need to do to get to where we need to be. It’s his job to get us there and not ours, we just need to trust him and leave it in his hands. I was sitting in my locker reflecting on some key moments of the game that I could have impacted when the coach came and sat with me for a chat. After talking he went around and talked to a couple others before leaving. We called it a night and got home before film the next day.
