“And that’s the game…” The Butchers have all returned back to the locker room after a hard loss with frowns all around. Nobody ever feels happy after a loss and especially not to the Philadelphia Liberty, a longtime rival to the Chicago Butchers according to some column writers. Rookies turn to their veterans at their position for guidance about how to best handle the loss and what to look forward to during practice. Sure, the moments you first enter the locker room are tough but it takes one leader to step forward in order to bring the energy back for the following week and even the following games. As teammates start chatting, veterans such as Tim Soulja usually are the first to try bringing the hype back to the team even after the toughest of losses. His positivity is never unwelcome to the rookie players trying to work out the kinks in the Chicago rebuild while some rookies like Rejoignez LOrdreSombre and Jason Garciaparra work on helping feel out the positive energy being fed from the coaches. It helps out the team for the next game up regardless of who they are playing. The Chicago locker room can handle losses from even the worst of rivals and in the closest of games.
