Considering this appears to be a clerical error, who are the FO supposed to be coming down hard on?

I mean, obviously something needs to be done, but it sounds like you want to see some kind of punishment... which would appear to be counterproductive at this stage, given that the only people it could affect have done nothing wrong.

To add to what the others said, there is also a huge benefit for the Hawks even if it was an error. That doesn't change the fact that a player played for 11 weeks, 5 of which he ended up in the team of the week, so clearly he helped the team win and that is irreversible now.
