John Riggins walked into the locker room after his final game, it was late. He stayed out on the field afterwards and watched the crowd leave, and watched the lights dim. The team knew it was time, but the fans did not. He liked running, that was what he did best- however years in the ISFL had taken years off his life. His knees hurt and the migraines were persistent. But Riggins did not regret a thing, he did it for the Glory, and secured generational wealth for his family. Walking into the locker room he was surprised to see the team waiting for him, and they each took time to hug him and offered to visit his Ranch in montana. He was going to spend the rest of his days with his kids and his wife, hunting and fishing, replacing the roar of the crowd with the noise of a babbling creek. He smiled as he sat on the locker room one last time. Absolutely no regrets.
