The calm before the storm.
As many NSFL players take time off and prepare for the rigorous painstaking season ahead, Calkewlated Chambers III, a newly drafted overall 21st pick of the draft, took a little trip to the other side of the world. Cal being a big man has always known the power of a man's weight. He wanted to watch other athletes excel using their body like powerful bulldozing machines. Cal attended the Grand Sumo tournament of Japan at the Kokugikan in Tokyo. He enjoyed witnessing the many ground pounding matches.
After the Tournament he even participated in amateur Sumo classes, improving his stance, hands, and speed as an overall athlete. He wasn't as good as he thought he would be. Being tossed out of the ring multiple times he continued to keep getting back in the ring, until he got his first win. After that he felt accomplished enough to enjoy the tourist sites of Tokyo.
During his nights he would spend walking the streets and trying various forms of Japanese street cuisine. He found himself wanting to learn how to cook these dishes for his return home. He didn't learn any Japanese while he was there. His head was too full of football terminology and he would not risk losing any of it. Once back stateside Cal continued to support his new hobby of Sumo.
