40. (S1) OL - Daniel Robicheaux || -28 -
@Electraspace
Average Grade: N/A || Highest Rank: N/A || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 12 || Weight Grade: 41.25
Colorado brought in young offensive lineman Daniel Robicheaux last season to help with the weak offensive line problem they had. Daniel was a temporary and unrealistic replacement for actual talent on the line, but was enough to give Noble time to move the ball a little bit more than if a robot was playing on the line. The statistical side of the game wasn't super strong for DR this season as he only managed to post 36 pancakes while allowing a whopping 13 sacks. Of course, this was playing alongside some of the worst offensive lineman in the league, and so he didn't have a whole lot to work with. Robicheaux is an elite player playing alongside poor players and will have to adjust his playing style this season if he wants to remain even near contention for the Top 50.
39. (S1) OL - Jogn Floggity || New Entry -
@Jogn
Average Grade: 28.4 || Highest Rank: 14 || Lowest Rank: 47
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 40.55
Floggity is part of the elite offensive line that is slowly being built up on the Yellowknife Wraiths. With star fire power in players like Chris Orosz, Josh Garden, and Bailey Cook, the offensive line in Yellowknife is a key component of their recent success. Floggity was a monster for them this season after a slow start to his career last year, posting 55 pancakes and only allowing 3 sacks. His number were very strong, especially for a player coming off the weak performance he's had in the past. If he continues to develop like he has been, he could see himself skyrocketing up this list in no time, even cracking the top half. Yellowknife is a team on the up, and with Floggity at offensive line they should have plenty of time to exploit the defense like they love to do.
38. (S1) DE - Fuego Wozy || New Entry -
@TheWoZy
Average Grade: 35.7 || Highest Rank: 24 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 55 || Weight Grade: 40.525
Wozy has been an integral part of the Colorado locker room and on field dominance since his first day with the team. Bursting onto the list this season at number 38, Fuego played a great season for the maroon donning Yeti. In wake of a total shift in the management team part way through the season, Wozy took on field leadership into his hands and led by definition and example. A great show of this is his statistics, which gained him a lot of attention. Wozy posted 12 tackles and an enormous 12 sacks for Colorado, tying S1 Colorado DPOTY Jonathan Saint for the team lead. His step up from last season threw him right into contention for this list, and his attachment to the team in terms of commitment and leadership is what set him over the edge.
37. (S1) DT - Vinny Cox || +2 -
@Gooney
Average Grade: 41 || Highest Rank: 17 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 39 || Weight Grade: 40.5
Vinny Cox started his career in the maroon colors of Colorado in season one but found his way onto the Legion roster through the expansion draft. Cox is a solid defensive line member and has been putting up solid numbers consistently, first for the Yeti and now in Las Vegas. His presence on the field is unrivaled, and talks with opposition will confirm that he is a force to be reckoned with. One of his specialties is closing down holes for running backs to dart through, shown by his 61 tackles. Alongside this high tackle count, Cox had 13 sacks on the season, rushing opposition quarterbacks relentlessly and shutting down any offense a team could run. Cox looks to slowly climb his way up the list, and with the way his development is going could see a jump soon.
36. (S1) K/P - Turk Turkleton || +2 -
@Raven
Average Grade: 40.2 || Highest Rank: 25 || Lowest Rank: 47
Previous Rank: 38 || Weight Grade: 39.65
As Cox moves up, Turkleton is right on his tail. Turk finished one spot behind Cox last season and reclaims that spot, also moving up two positions to finish one behind him once again. The starting kicker/punter in Baltimore has been making waves as he was one of the big reasons for the success of the Hawks this season. It seems odd to think just how much impact a kicker can have, but Turkelton had a 95.8% extra point conversion with 23 points made alongside leading the league in field goals 33 and a completion rating of 89.2%. Combined, he contributed 122 points to his team this season. Without these points, the Hawks could have found themselves losing quite a few more games then they did, and behind a weak kicker may not have even qualified for the playoffs.
35. (S1) OL - Ben Longshaw || New Entry -
@`BenLongshaw`
Average Grade: 26.3 || Highest Rank: 2 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 38.975
With easily the biggest and weirdest gap in expert rankings, Longshaw found himself being ranked second once, Top 20 twice, and unlisted twice. The public opinion on Longshaw seems to be a general consensus of "we don't know and we're not going to try and change that". While Longshaw had a strong season, he doesn't finish high on this list mostly based upon the players he was surrounded by. An individual performs better when given better partners, and Longshaw was carried by his team mates. The poster boy of the Sabercats o-line, Longshaw led the league in pancake with 73 while only allowing 5 sacks all season. This seems like a performance that would easily warrant a top half finish, but due to his poor start to his career last season and a lack of training recently, he drops off.
34. (S1) TE - George Wright Jr. || New Entry -
@Player1
Average Grade: 33.5 || Highest Rank: 15 || Lowest Rank: 49
Previous Rank: 54 || Weight Grade: 38.625
Wright Jr. finished one step behind Wozy for last year's list but squeezes on this season at rank 34. Wright had an excellent performance for the Otters, and earned his spot on this list through hard play and dedication to his team. As one of the only elite level tight ends in the league, his value to the Otters is indefinite and as he looks to make himself an elite player recognized around the league, he will continue to develop until reaching his true form. Wright posted 567 yards, good for third among tight ends as well as 3 touchdowns behind only Carmel Gibson of the Baltimore Hawks (meme confirmed). His play was phenomenal and this won't be the last time you see him on this list as he continues to push harder each and every year.
33. (S1) WR - None Stormblessed || -14 -
@Stormblessed
Average Grade: 44.7 || Highest Rank: 37 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 19 || Weight Grade: 38.275
Last season, Stormblessed was touted as one of the premier receivers in the league. While he can still hold that title, his move from the desert of Arizona to the desert of Las Vegas was not one that benefited his statistics. Stormblessed is an athlete with tremendous skill and potential for success, and once the Legion get there hands on some decent players to assist him he'll be back to the top in no time. His performance was miserable by any standard as he still managed to lead the Legion in receiving yards with 759 alongside an outstanding eight touchdowns which ranked him second in the league behind only Kendrick Hendrix of the Colorado Yeti. Should he keep up his pace in Vegas, and stay along for the hard ride he will likely be rewarded as the Legion look to become a dominant team.
32. (S1) DE - Kurt Hendrix || -18 -
@HENDRIX
Average Grade: 45.9 || Highest Rank: 18 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 14 || Weight Grade: 37.925
Hendrix was a raging contender last season for the top defensive line player, competing against star Jayce Tuck. This season he fell off the wagon a little bit, dropping down into the bottom half of the list while previously being ranked in the Top 15. His fall isn't something that should worry Hawks fans though, as it's more than likely he's just having an off season. Hendrix was thrust into the roll of stardom in Baltimore this season and didn't handle the pressure to well, but slowly started improving with it as the season went by. One the season he posted 42 tackles and an amazing 13 sacks, still worthy of a spot on this list and something that Baltimore fans should be happy to see. If he can increase his tackles while keeping his sacks on par, he'll be back into the top half in no time.
31. (S1) S - Dominic Verns || New Entry -
@Roshambo
Average Grade: 30.7 || Highest Rank: 24 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 53 || Weight Grade: 36.275
Verns comes onto the list as another player new to the Top 50. This season he exploded into his role as a part of the Otters secondary and even found his way into a management position. The Otters are a team that has flown under the radar so far in the NSFL, staying out of media spotlight after the controversy of Gregor Clegane and the quarterback battle that raged into the regular season. Verns comes in as a fresh face to the franchise, despite being there since the start. His on field participation is his greatest aspect, as he had an absolutely incredible year. Verns lead all defensive backs with 104 tackles as well as 12 sacks and 3 interceptions. These stats don't even begin to explain the total impact he had on the season though, as he contributed to a number of shut down defensive plays. Expect to see him quickly rise up this list.
