If he deleted the comment on accident thats one thing, but censoring what people are saying because they're trash talking your team is messed up.
For the record, I was happy for just public shaming. I believe in the power of peer pressure. I offer myself as an example of someone who got a little too invested in these kinds of disputes and suffered only embarrassment and a little abuse. I think that was enough for me, and I think it's enough for Hendrix.
If, however, there is a desire for serious repercussions, then let's try to be reasonable. He's a mod because he's a GM, and while he has acted inappropriately as a moderator, I'm glad he's a GM. He's a good GM, and that is good for the league. There is no "heir apparent" to take over in Baltimore, and I don't want to see the Hawks thrown into chaos over shit like this. I don't want to see a really competitive conference become less competitive over a shit-talking incident. And I definitely don't want to see a team full of renewed energy feel defeated and lose interest. However, I understand the importance of meaningful repercussions.
In the NFL, if an owner broke the rules, there would be a fine, and that's what I would propose. Hendrix gets fined x dollars from his personal account. Similarly, one player has made several "reports" of behavior that are not against the rules. One of those invalid reports was a contributing factor for this incident. I would consider a fine against that player as well.
