At this point, no one has had to let go a player due to cap space, much less an IMPORTANT player. There are no more waiver claims for NSFL teams, so keeping room open for that isn't a factor anymore. Given that EVERY team had room for waiver claims last year, I don't see an issue.
I wouldn't raise the cap unless the league spending average is over 85% BEFORE cap bonuses, and probably even higher than that.
