What talents do you have, off the field?
I enjoy playing piano. I know it may seem pretty out of place, but it just helps calm me down. I can express myself in a more private manner without all the noise around me
Have you ever gone bungee jumping?
I haven't but I probably should. I love a good thrill.
Can you swim?
I can. Used to all the time as a little kid.
Have you ever been to the zoo?
A few times but we never really had the money to go as much as other kids. I'd like to go to a really big one one day. I love animals.
What animal did you relate to most?
A silverback gorilla.
1) Where do you need immediate improvement?
Stopping the run. Not over shooting my angles. Film study. I'm always improving, always learning.
2) What's the best thing you can bring to a team?
Intensity and an immediate impact in both the locker room and on the field. I've been a winner my entire career. I know what it takes.
3) If you had to die for your team to win would you?
Football and family is all I have. My little brother died chasing this dream. I'd die for it too.
4) Win and get little playing time or lose and get MVP?
Win with whatever playing time I get. Losing isn't part of my DNA.
5) What was the first football team you joined?
Pee wee. I was around 7-8. I was a lot bigger than the other kids but man you could never underestimate the little quick kids. They could make me look silly sometimes. I got my speed and quickness when I grew a bit.
Firstly my condolences on the recent loss of your brother.
Thank you sir. I appreciate it.
1) What is your stance on gun ownership in the U.S?
I don't have much of a comment on that right now.
2) Do you plan on making any political statements during your career in the NSFL?
No. I'm here to play ball.
3) Growing up did you play any sports other than American Football?
I was the starting small forward on my junior varsity basketball team. I wasn't bad but football is my passion so I ended up just focusing on that.
4) What are your interests off the field?
Working out, reading, music, movies, whatever really. I love to absorb all sorts of things.
5) Do you drink alcohol?
No sir. Water and juice. That's it for me.
What made you choose Alabama over other schools I'm assuming made offers?
I grew up in Alabama and it was always my team as a kid. It came down to them and Florida State. FSU made a great push but I went where my heart is.
Why the NSFL over more established leagues like the NFL?
I wanted to make my impact in a big way and felt like the NSFL would be the way to go. It seems like its going to be football the way it was meant to be played.
Are you strictly DE or would you be able or willing to play LB?
If I can continue growing as an all around player then I definitely wouldn't mind. I'll play wherever a coach thinks I can play.
Would you prefer 3-4 or 4-3?
I played a 4-3 in college mostly. I can play the 3-4 as well but its not my natural formation.
What team(s) would you NOT want to draft you?
Any team that doesn't believe in me or their identity. You have to have consistency to win big. Don't change that.
(More answers coming, great questions guys)
