I'm sorry that this has backfired but the Otters played no part in the drop to the later rounds. In fact, they had assumed I was bullshitting to let the Hawks select me. Accusing them in this instance is completely wrong.

Accusing a team that has benefited in the past from draft-tanking ploys is not completely wrong, especially when they were also suspected of tampering with a contracted player (Bowers). I'll admit that Sims was not a high profile or even high value player, but he was a position of need.

You guys got Burnsman, a great value at RB, and he would have been available to us one round later had he said anything.

@timeconsumer Okay, I believe you. I don't think you are lying here and that you genuinely just took the chance. However, this was not "dumb," as there has just been too much smoke when it comes to the Otters player acquisitions.
