As for Noble, the difference in S1 was negligible, as he started really slow. And in S2, did it really help him? He was still a really bad QB, easily bottom half. Compare that to Gibson who led all TEs in TDs. Also, did you know that Kyubee only threw ONE interception when targeting Gibson last year? He threw FIVE targeting Sanderson. The difference made by Gibson's TPE was felt across the league.
Noble had an AWFUL offensive line. Who knows how much it helped him. But having the extra TPE likely added at least one win. AND this was intentional cheating by an active player. I don't see how you can argue Gibson is worse, though I can see the argument that it had more of an effect. If your argument is that it had extra impact I get that, but should we have results based punishment? That doesn't really make sense.
