Pat Pancake. With a name like that in a league like this, you can expect to go places. First off, the last name "Pancake" is so appropriate. Obviously a lineman wants to deliver those sweet, sweet pancakes and you can expect the Pancake man to deliver them with force and style, laying out everybody in front of him with ease. Second, come on, you can't tell you see the name Pancake and don't get happy almost immediately. Maybe you're a waffle person, I get that, no big deal, but for the rest of us? Pancake conjures up these great memories of eating breakfast with loved ones, a fluffy little disc of goodness on the plate. But most importantly, Pat Pancake reminds us that these sorts of things don't need to be taken so seriously. As someone with a name that's a bit bland and boring, names like Pat Pancake serve as a reminder that, at the end of the day, this is a sim league where we're all looking to enjoy ourselves (usually through winning). And what better way to enjoy ourselves than have a hearty chuckle at a silly name? I can sure as shit say that I'm looking forward to seeing the future of Pat Pancake and others like him.
