The clear-cut second best name in the league belongs to Hawks quarterback Scrub Kyubee. Not only does it score points in the originality department, considering I didn't realize it was pronounced QB until the mid-point of Season 2, it's a winner in creativity too. Coming in a very close second is Calkewlated Chambers. Until last week, I was pronouncing the name as "Cakewalked" in my head. Yes, I understand that doesn't make any sense, but that's how it is sometimes.
While not particularly clever, Mark Ramrio is a top-5 names in terms of mouth feel. Just say it to yourself, Ramrio, a transcendental experience. Andreas Waiters is another name that just sounds nice. And, without revealing too much, it has a fairly entertaining backstory to boot.
But one name stands above them all, a true moniker among mere nicknames. Donovan Maric, Linebacker, from THE University of Maryland. On its own, Donovan would be a top-5 name in the league. But, it's not only the name that makes Maric special, it's the name-state combination. You see, defensive players named Donovan who come from Maryland are scientifically proven to be a different breed of person. They are both different animals and the same beasts.

P.S. What on earth is this PT
