Picking the best of the best is usually difficult in the world of sports. You can analyze stats, look at footage, or talk about the achievements and accolades that a player has had. One position that it's totally unnecessary at is quarterback. In Season 3, nobody has even come close to the production and talent of Orange County's Mike Boss. Boss had plenty of struggles to overcome early in his career, but now dominates the league in yardage, touchdowns, and rating. With 7 more touchdowns than the next closest player and a staggering 1,065 passing yard advantage, Boss has put himself at the helm of an Otters offense that leads the league in scoring and gives their defense the help it needs to hold off comebacks. With Phelps and Westfield, the NSFL's premier receiving duo, and a supporting cast in Wright, Jenkins, and the rookie Atasuke, Mike Boss has plenty of targets to choose from that have shown they can get the job done consistently while still making big plays. His one true weakness remains the Arizona Outlaws, whose secondary has haunted him since his rookie season with their ability to get interceptions and put constant pressure in the backfield.
The future is an uncertain one for this star QB, but there's no doubt that wherever he goes he will be an MVP candidate and he's already writing his application for the hall of fame.
