"Archon stated multiple times that he gets his enjoyment by stirring up drama."
So if somebody says "I get my enjoyment from being a dick to others!" they can then be a dick? This seems like an either poorly worded or poorly thought out statement. Just because that's how somebody gets their enjoyment doesn't make it okay.
"Your team could have easily rolled with the punches like Er does"
So because one person handles these jokes well, everybody should right? Now I'm not saying that no trash talk should be allowed and we should all be bff's, because frankly I don't get offended by words on the internet, but if a group of players are getting upset and quitting due to one player being a d-bag, maybe the HO should step in. For a league that wants players to have fun, telling a bunch of people, "Handle it like ER" seems counter productive. Also, if ER came out one day and said "all of the rigging jokes actually bother me and they are making me want to quit" would you tell him to handle it like old ER. No, you wouldn't.
"The only change that I think the HO could have done better is explain why your reports weren't valid"
This just seems douchey. Especially after several people quit over the Archon situation. Apparently, if people quit, their reports may have been valid, no?
Again, I don't mean for this to be a personal attack. Just my opinions on the words you used. Maybe I misunderstood or just don't get the whole situation, just my two cents.
I don't think a new person should ever feel like their comments shouldn't be heard.
I think a big thing is being able to read people. If I tell you that you're an idiot and I can tell you don't care, I'm going to keep calling you an idiot. If I can see it's driving you up the wall I'm going to stop.
