The Outlaws Defense is Good

That's true, but so is my point. The job of a defense is not to allow the other team to score.

They've both been fairly good. I know the low sack count really is detrimental to the Outlaws. Your front can't get a lot of pressure on the QB. It is great you have really good DBs though. The only reason your defense has been fairly good is turnovers.

Yards aren't my favorite measurement of Defense because there are a lot of factors involved with that. But the Yeti are the only team in the top 3 in both Sacks (3rd) and Interceptions (2nd).

I think thats a little bit of a short sighted thought. we may have low sack counts, but also have the most tackles for a loss. So maybe we dont get a lot of pressure on the pass game, but we are stuffing the run solidly as well. And when your secondary is without a doubt the best in the league that seems like its not the end of the world, especially when you consider our yards allowed per pass attempt

Also, the ONLY reason we have been FAIRLY good is turnovers? second in tackles, tied for first in TFL, third in fumbles forced and fumbles recovered, first in interceptions, first in passes defenced, tied for first in safety, first in defensive TDs, tied for first in blocked kicks, first in points allowed, second in yards allowed, second in passing yards allowed, second in total yards allowed, second in yards allowed per carry, first in yards allowed per pass, first in touchdowns allowed. I would hardly say that is "only good because of our turnovers." bub

It's only been 6 weeks, I'm confident the otters will take over as best soon enough. We have the best defense yardage wise and close to it points allowed. We'll get the sacks and picks coming though the outlaw d is surprising. 2 of those defensive Tds did come against the worst team in the league

Tackles aren't really the best judge of a defense. Consistent 3 and outs would have way fewer tackles than long game extending drives, plus if your offense is bad or has ToP eating drives you're on the field more/less.

Yeah i get that, I'm just saying we are doing much more than just causing turnovers
