Angus Winchester is going to be pumping iron in the primetime video. He is the 15th player to be shown in the video, after seeing plenty of guys dancing, flexing, hip thrusting, and other usual moves. They had considered a few different lifts like a squat or deadlift, but finally they settled on a clean and jerk given that it is such a difficult looking move. The clean and jerk is far from Winchester's specialty, but he is still able to easily jerk 240kg (528 pounds).
For Winchester's segment it was filmed in front of a green screen with him on a weightlifting platform. He is wearing his football pants and jersey, but no pads given the lift he is performing. They spent a few takes getting the shot right, and after final edits it came out to little more than 3 seconds of airtime. His setup isn't shown, as soon as he hits the screen it is the pull. He gets deep into the front squat to get the 500+ pound load up to his collarbones. And in one quick burst he jerks the weight overhead, and from the 3/4 angle they filmed from you can see the NSFL branded plates. Although not a true showcase of Winchester's football skill, it does highlight the pure strength and power of the strongest man in the NSFL. ![]() Hank Winchester (S25 - Current) - Scrub

On NSFL Tonight, before the Primetime Games that feature the Orange County Otters, they play a music video that has many of the Otters stars in the montage. At first the screen is black. A rendition of Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train comes on, without the screaming at the beginning. Players flash on screen to the beat. Boss, Tomlinson, Phelps, Clegane, Verns, Wright, Harris, Petrakis, Westfield. All of them are doing poses in their pads and uniforms, but no helmets on. Suddenly the music stops and two players smash through the screen and scream "ALL ABOARD!!! HAHAHAHAHA" It's Marc Spector and Ragnar Kronen with thorns on their pads and they have mohawks. The screen pans out and Bavitz and Jenkins have their faces painted orange and black, and are headbanging as the music starts up again. Vic Bowers and Angus Winchester slide onstage holding guitars and when they jam on them, flames shoot out of the ends. As the screen shifts over, Clegane is banging on drums and Westfiled, now wearing facepaint and spiked pads is singing the lyrics. Eventually the whole starting squad is on the stage with crazy face pain, spiked pads and crazy haircuts dancing. Joined with the Otters on stage is several cute British girls in orange shorts and tight white tank tops, dancing closely to Leroy Jenkins, Marc Spector and Anthony Petrakis. As the music fades the screen goes to black. "Are you ready for NSFL Primetime" comes on screen.

The producer hired for this TV spot had no clue what it was supposed to look like. But he heard that he had to use dramatic music and, really, just make everything look dramatic.
So picture this. It starts with images from the aftermath of the Katrina hurricane because yknow, Philippe Carter is from New Orleans. Then you have narration, Philippe telling the audience how this event in fact did not affect his football career. But they asked him to talk about it. So he did. Then we move on to some more dramatic shots of him walking in the hallway from the locker room to the field. All that shit in black and white. Because black and white is dramatic as fuck. Then Philippe steps out onto the field. He stands in the rain. We do some real dramatic takes of his face, profile and maybe butt? He does have a nice butt so let's just do it. Then there is some more narration. About the loss in the Ultimus Cup finals. And now it gets super dramatic. Because Carter is a sensible man. We cut just before he starts crying. Fade to black, now back to live images. So cool. So dramatic. (07-05-2021, 04:34 PM)r0tzbua Wrote: My favourite person from Quebec (next to Celine Dion) @enigmatic ![]()
The scene starts with black and slowly you see the silhouette of Carrie Underwood revealed. Lights reign down on her as she starts the first notes of her extremely recognizable NSFL primetime song. There are many NSFL players in the video but they are just a small part of the intro and Carrie is the star. She goes through the song interacting with various players during it, passing by Stormblessed, Jayce Tuck, and Darlane Farlane getting hyped up for the game. Next scene she walks to a table and picks up a ball which she hands to Yellowknife Wraiths QB, Chris Orosz. As the song nears it's climax, Orosz cocks back for a pass and fires it as the camera pans to Josh Garden running towards the corner of the endzone. Garden leaps just as the song hits its high note and it's climax, the camera focuses on his toes as he taps the corner and goes to the group among explosions and excitement. The song holds one note before the camera pans to the referee who holds up his arms signifying a touchdown as Garden leaps up and celebrates with Carrie Underwood. She finished her song among other NSFL superstars and then it's game time.

"Dan miller, let's talk about it one more time. We need you to start from the line, push off and spin to the left and then dive over the camera. Got it?"
"Got it." "And, ACTION!" (Thinking) *Snaps, Pushes off the actor defending against me, spin move perfectly and leaps towards the camera... Uh oh, I didn't get high enough to pass over.* *BOOM CRASH* "Damn it Dan, you broke the camera." "I'm sorry, I'm used not used to tackling that low so I must have gone too low." "Well that's not great, I'm unsure what to do about this now." "Well, is the footage still there? Maybe it looks good?" "Alright, lets go ahead and take out the recording tape and see what we got. In the mean time lets get another camera set up and clean up the broken lenses." *Dan goes to grab a broom to clean up the set* "Not you, you are the actor, just chill for a second. This stuff happens." "Yeah but I feel bad. I'm used to putting on a show on the field but this is a bit different." "Alright, well we got the tape, lets throw that up on the screen real quick... Wow, this footage is great. I think we nailed it on the first take. And here I thought we were going to have to spend a few hours getting those few seconds. Thanks Dan" "Glad that worked out, sorry about your camera!" Code: 245
The night is quiet. Nothing around in an empty alleyway. But faintly we hear the beginnings of a musical rush...it's low and far off..but then it CLASHES into an intro. DARLANE FARLANE, shirtless, wearing sweatpants, dreads draping over his shoulders, jumps into our view, splashing into a puddle. This is a new NSFL intro -- one which hasn't been heard before. The sounds are wild and foreign. There aren't any words, just raging electronic production. And each change of key, each hi-hat, each bass drop, each change of tempo, is matched by the refined movements of Darlane Farlane, his rippling muscles twitching under the moonlight. He dances toward the camera, until we see a line of TRASH CANS in front of him. The music halts for a moment, as does he, right in front of the metal bins. Then, in a swift motion, he starts playing them LIKE DRUMS with his DREADLOCKS. It's an insane solo. Each individual dread, dirtied and thick, whacks the metal lids of each can. BUM bum bum BUM. Pow POW. BAM BAM BAM. It's a fucking raucous cacophony. Nothing else in the universe matters except for this solo. Bam bam BAM pow pow POW. The dreads swing in a circular motion, then plow DOWN onto the hard tops of the cans. The sweat flings off his hardened back. The drops fly off his face. The beat and electronics rhythms haven't been heard for nearly two minutes as the solo continues. It builds and it builds, rising in the echoes of the alley, until finally the electro-fusion rejoins the trash can beat-down and surges into a beautiful explosion. Darlane CRASHES through the trash cans, knocking them over, exploding into an impromptu 40-yard dash down the alley way. It's laser timed - and as the song comes to a close - he crosses the line, shattering the combine record. Let the god damn NSFL games begin. Dear god I need to rethink my life.
