@timeconsumer I have found a similar increase in performance when lining up an LB at DE but leaving him as an LB. Or even just switching a DE to an LB. They suddenly get more sacks, tfls, and also start getting PDs and INTs.

Since the "Running QB" flag appears to affect a players skill on the field, can we make sure it is removed from the Otters starting LG Cliff Hamilton in the sim file?

Nah it's not the running tag, it's the actual position. Even as a normal QB my tests showed them to put up ridiculous numbers at WR.

No, in the sim you can just change someone's position designation without switching where they play. So instead of playing a LB at the DE position, you would just take a DE, change nothing else about them except what the sim calls them, and you get an immediate upgrade at the DE position.

Are you saying you take Jayce Tuck and tell the sim he is an LB and he's really good all of a sudden?

From what I can gather, neither. It seems the game just treats LBs entirely differently than DEs/DTs. I'm saying I took Dan Miller, changed nothing about him except the he's now called an LB, put him in the DE slot and he started putting up 2+ sacks per game, 2+ PDs per game, and would have an INT about every other game. Absolutely insane.

We tried that with Chunk last season and we were run on a lot. Didn't really change this week lol but besides the point. Maybe you get run on a lot more

Weird. I legitimately made as many of our Dline LBs as the game would allow and our D started destroying teams. They were getting a bunch of TFLs as well, so there was a lot of running on us. Keep in mind, we would still lose games, but the changed players put up more stats.
