I don't actually think we should be able to do either. But it's not really fair that one is allowed and one isn't. I'm at a disadvantage because I earn my money with league jobs (I've also written a few articles and haven't thrown the money to teammates, except where they actually contributed).

But I don't league job reallocate (ok that's not true I redistributed some to my graders because I just became head and felt they did more work than me). No one has appointed me league power rankers, it's not a job, it's something I do for lols to make this league more interesting.

Yes but your argument was: I should be able to give the profits from my work (media) to my teammates who have less time.

That is not different than Er giving the profits of his work (simming) to his teammates who have less time.

We're not arguing which is currently allowed and which is not. Merely that they are in essence the exact same thing. So campaigning for one to stay means both should be allowed.

And you're right, but it's also fair to say that with the exception of boss, lee, and garden, most players haven't really tried to make a splash in free agency because the money they don't need. And this is the systematic problem and why I'm arguing for keeping money sharing in place. We have one of the least parity leagues right now, because us super active players have essentially not taken money despite our performance on the field because the money has little return value for most of us as we do all this stuff.

I feel I may have started this. In the beginning of S2, I wrote a ton of articles just because I loved doing it. I would use things my teamates were doing as topics and give them a cut for inspiring the article. They didn't suggest the topics, often didn't provide quotes, but they got a huge cut of the money.

Lately its gotten even worse, with no connection between article and payees. I've tried to start justifying payouts by saying the reason why, and that is the best recommendation I have.

I don't see how you giving players money outside of the salary cap has anything at all to do with increasing parity. What happens when the Outlaws start doing it?
