Norman Bagwell is going to be such a great player. He’s joining a DL that includes two imposing DTs in King and Kamaka, and a solid DE in Drew Davidson. Bagwell, who is making the switch to DE, is going to be a force off the edge for the Liberty, and he should really help the Liberty defense throughout the season. The standout DSFL player was certainly one of the best players in the DSFL last season and should translate well to the NSFL. As DL is one of the easier spots to break in to, as most teams need DL to be successful, it was a surprise that he fell to 4, but it makes sense considering the needs of the other teams at the time. Bagwell should play extremely well on the Liberty and should have no pressure on him as he has an imposing line beside him and a sack machine in Jaylon Lee rushing with him. Look for Bagwell to be rookie of the year on defense, as his skill set could make him a top pass rusher in his rookie year. I’m excited to see what this young gun can do, and hopefully when the season ends the young gun has turned into a rising star. (211 words)
The Kansas City Coyotes have made a whole batch of acquisitions in the draft and on the waiver wire for S6, and that means veteran RB Robby Rainey has a bunch of new faces in the Coyotes Locker-room. On offense Rainey praised the WR duo of Howard Miller and DeAndre Green, saying of Miller “He’s been around the block a few times man, just a consummate professional” and letting reporters know that he’s been racing Green in 40-yard dashes to help the rookie work on his top-end speed. On defense the list is just as decorated, with safety Bubba Beau-Boucher and LBs Ryan LeFevre and Thomas Kane III. “I saw personally what TK III can do last year in Week 13 against Portland. That dude can thump with the best of em and he’s going to be a monster on this defense” When asked if he had heard about any further plans from the Coyotes brain trust to bring in even more fresh blood Rainey coyly replied “ I don’t know about you guys, but I’m always looking to see the next great player in the NSFL slip on a Coyotes jersey and kill it for the purple and gold. If I were you I’d hit up the waiver wire, heard that there’s a whole batch of guys down there that are turning heads in the right places”
