I was confused because theoretically I could say "Me, RainDelay..."

Actually it's not grammatically incorrect. I believe Alfredo_Pasta is using an appositive phrase in this sentence.

An appositive is a noun or noun phrase that renames another noun right beside it. The appositive can be a short or long combination of words. Look at these appositive examples, all of which rename insect:

My point was that the "me" could have been referring to the account which he thought he was posting from. Probably nothing to it, just thought it curious.

Edit : Same with Kigs77 now, also a buddy, probably same IP every once in a while
