As an upcoming prospect in the Season 8 DSFL Entry Draft, wide receiver Xavier Flash is holding this press conference to get his name out there.
"I'm very excited to be declaring for the upcoming DSFL Entry Draft. I've been working hard on my craft to get to this point and I can't wait to get on the field with my new team. I'm ready to show the world that I am going to be the best wide receiver this league has ever seen. I am now opening this up to any questions you may have."
Ask away...
I don't know enough about the DSFL teams to really have a strong opinion either way. The Solar Bears have a kick ass logo and Norfolk's black and blue logo is my favourite colour combination. The Pythons and Coyotes both have solid looks as well so at least I'll be looking fresh wherever I go.
My dedication to my craft is what separates me from any other wide receiver. I know what I need to work on and how to improve my game. I won't be outworked.
1. We had a great wide receivers coach in Florida. He really emphasized improving my foot work. It has really helped me in route running as well as creating separation from the CB with my first move.
2. Listen, money is great and everyone loves it. The thing is, you play competitive sports to win. There's no better feeling than being the team that celebrates at the end of the season. Now, both of these things are connected anyway. If you're a player who wins, you're going to get paid. It's just how it works. My motivation comes from wanting to win, the money is a benefit of winning and being the best player I can be for my team.
3. Everyone is their own person who wants different things from the game. I just want teammates who want to get better everyday and leave any nonsense outside the locker room. They can be selfish by wanting to be the best at their position, but not selfish where they are actively campaigning against their teammates to better their position on the team. In the end, we're in this together and we can't succeed alone.
4. I'm a team guy and I will always be working to get better. You're going to get a fun guy to be around. If there's anything negative about me, I'm not a very conscious eater.
1. Two teams stand out, the Liberty and the Otters. The reason for this is because when I did Ultimus Week it centred around them so I learned a little about them and their players. I'm sure I'll learn more about the others as my first season unfolds.
2. I'd like to become Dez Bryant when he was at his best. A big body who can run proper routes and catches every ball thrown to him. I want the jump balls in the end zone, I want to create separation at the line of scrimmage, everything. I'm going to keep working on my craft in order to achieve everything I want to. I want to be the best and you have to keep working and doing it all if you want that to happen.

What separates you from the pack of receivers in your draft class?

If given the choice between a huge contract and a chance at a championship, which would you choose and why?
What do you look for in a teammate?
What qualities, positive and negative, do you bring to a locker room?

Give an IRL counterpart in the NFL who you want to become. How do you plan on building that?
