In the lovely state of Colorado, there lies a special team that has some of the most dedicated fans in the entire league. The bond they share together shows through each and every home game that provides a good boost as to why the Yeti have stuck it out this entire time in the stadium. There are a multitude of chants, costumes, and songs that keep the fans going the entire game. Ever since the introduction of the only armored jaguar NSFL player the Colorado faithful make sure to pack on special gear in order to support this one of a kind player. When the powerful Yeti defense gets a huge sack from Mo Berry or Bubba Thumper, the crowd shouts into the cold air of the Rockies as the lights shine red and yellow with “Sack Squatch!” appearing on the video board. The stadium lights up when McDummy and Bishop connect for a huge touchdown that gets the endzones to show off their Yeti masks and their best yeti chants. It is not uncommon to walk around the stadium on gamedays to find the Colorado fans wearing their favorite player’s jersey and a red fur yeti mask or, in some special cases, a jaguar mask.

Ahoy from Myrtle Beach! I be th' newest buccaneer (I do nah even 'ave an eye patch yet), so I dunno many o' th' traditions. That said, I be excited t' learn. I can only hope that we 'ave a Kraken beneath th' stadium, waitin' fer th' sorry crew that tries t' beat us. I hope they locked thar ship 'n locker cabin, 'cause we be comin' fer that loot win or lose. Are we goin' t' end up in th' gallows? Prolly, but that be th' pirate life. Yo ho!

Me initiation was pretty typical fer a buc. First, I had t' haul th' firewood down t' th' beach, where I was baptized wit' a bucket o' seawater. Aft provin' me knowledge o' ships, I was forced t' complete basic tasks blindfolded. Aft an 11-drink flight o' rum (one fer each crew member on defense), I had t' climb th' mast 'n kiss th' Jolly Roger. Finally, I had t' drink goat's blood mixed wit' mead while recitin' th' pirate's code.

Arr, anyone who tries t' run th' ball on me be goin' t' walk th' plank -- I can guarantee that. We shall see how handsomely he can run aft he swims wit' th' fish. Our cap'n be fearless; he has sailed th' seven seas, 'n we be ready t' sail t' th' championship. Come challenge us, 'n we shall make new traditions involvin' th' body parts o' our fallen enemies.

Written Option: In the real world, many pro sports teams have unique stadium atmospheres that add to their culture (the Buffalo Bills and tables, for example). Write about some of the unique traditions for your NSFL or DSFL teams that occur on or leading up to game day.

The Austin Copperheads tradition this year is to be really sad before, during and after the games. It's a longstanding tradition with about 11 weeks of history behind it which is cultivated by the staff, front office members, players and fans of the Copperheads. The team has underperformed spectacularily and it's definetly shown on and off the field with the status of the moral of the travelling copperheads support.

Another tradition the Copperheads enjoy is the Fuck Ashley Owens (FAO) campaign. Scumbag traitor and all around awful person @run_CMC is hated by every single member past, present and future of the Austin franchise. His decision to leave the Copperheads in free agency has resulted in before every Copperheads home game, fans will create, bring and then destroy replica life size carboard cutouts of Ashley Owens to show their disdain for him and his decision. This has now become a longstanding historic tradition of the Copperheads and should Owens play well against Austin in any future fixture, Owens could find himself attacked and murdered by a large section of the Austin fan area.

Minnesota has a pretty good beer culture. No, they do not have the best, that would be their neighbors in wisconsin, but I digress. So anyways, one of the cool things that the minnesota grey ducks, formally the San antonio Marshall's do, is not have an official beer for their team or stadium. Instead every gameday the kegs are rolled out and a new microbeer comes in from a different brewery. Pretty rad, no? Now, if you still want water, I mean Budweiser or bud light or Coors or any mass market produced beer that does not taste great, fret not. The Minnestoa gray ducks, is it gray or grey? I should really know how my team spells their name, but then again I'm on vacation doing this while I have a moment of availability. Where was I, oh right, the mass produced beers which are still available. One thing I will say, the minnesota gray ducks really do lean into their city to help keep this team local and a point of pride that that they can point to. The beer is just one of the many things. Anyways that's what I got and at this point I have no idea what else to put.

The game day tradition in Chicago might seem a little weird but it's certainly memorable. Every home game during pregame, local butchers slaughter a cow on the field and then…...haha just kidding that would be disgusting. Besides think of all the hard work the grounds crew does, what a mess that would be. No on game day, you'll simply find lots of local butchers at the tailgate selling and smoking fine meats. Yes from beef to pork, steaks to brats, you'll be hard pressed to find a finer selection of meats in one spot in the world than the parking lot of Chicago at a Butchers home game. What a great way to just enjoy a brisk fall afternoon and support local farmers. Nothing beats a cold day in Chicago like firing up the grill, cooking up some fine meats and cracking a cold one with the boys. Don't need any crazy rituals or gimmicks, that kind of stuff doesn't seem to last when the going gets tough. And Butchers football is all about being tough. There was that one time though during a blowout game at home where a bunch of unruly fans threw rotten meat on the field. Kind of the opposite of what the usual pregame tailgate is. Hopefully that doesn't become some kind of recurring thing….
