I agree completely! It is very disappointing to have a great season at CB and know that I have no shot of winning an award. I like the idea of adding a "CB of the year" category and making the safeties compete in their own category. People who chose to play CB shouldn't be punished because they can't get sacks or rack up the tackle numbers. I have never vocalized this until now but it has been one of my biggest issues with this league. Thanks for addressing it and hopefully a change can be implemented to help out corners.

I feel like award voters already know to classify S @ LB as linebackers for positional award purposes. If not, then that totally should happen.

I'm not sure how it works. But as I had one of the top seasons at CB this season, I would have appreciated some recognition for it. It just seems like CB is a very underappreciated position.

So we just had a guy who had 27 pass deflections (tied 9th best single season) and 5 interceptions lose the defensive back of the year award to a safety who played zero snaps at defensive back ,a linebacker won the defensive back of the year award and we're still content to let HO & GM's vote on awards.
