This would be an easy decision for me. Considering I spend the majority of the off season already partaking in this activity, I can only assume the frequency would increase as I’m allotted more free time. The activity is golf. Throughout most of the season, I spend my time in Portland Oregon which is sandwiched right between 2 of the worst sates for corona virus cases. During the off season, I return back home to the calm Midwest. My home state is on a semi-strict lock down which is only allowing travel to essential businesses which include grocery stores, medical offices, and some carryout restaurants. One shocking yet interesting piece of news to come out recently is that the governor has ruled that golf courses are considered essential businesses and can remain open during this statewide shutdown. Given my NSFL earnings, I should be able to sustain my weekly golfing habit for at least a few years if needed. If the NSFL season was suspended too long, I may decide to not return once it reconvened despite my young age. Given the typical ornery behavior during the usual off season, I could quite possibly see this league burning to the ground if a longer break were to occur.
