DSFL

– Coyotes
- This is a colour scheme that knows exactly what it wants to be and does it well. A nice Simple logo that stands out and is really clear with no questions on what it is trying to represent. This isn’t a top tier logo as a base for me when I compare it to all the sim leagues in existence, but it’s not in the bottom tier either. I like when teams pick a really strong colour scheme that mixes well with all the parts and this logo ticks all those boxes. Their uniforms seem pretty straight forward as well which is good. I’d give this team a 8.5/10 for overall appeal and wouldn’t shy away from embracing being a Coyote.

– Royals
- Another simple but strong colour scheme. With the whole location and general theme of this team, I feel like it should be represented by James Bond. A regal look but sort of blurs the lines between a football team, and a football team (soccer). I sort of feels like being drafted to this team you better be good at that soccer routine teams do in pre games with keeping the ball from hitting the ground and a true appreciation for Fish and Chips. I tried to get a closer look at their logo and maybe jerseys? But Their team page is more bare than a porn shoot. 6/10 for initial wow and cool factor, but lack of depth tarnishes the idea of being overly excited to play here.

– Grey Ducks
- One of the least intimidating logos I have ever seen (making the duck angry isn’t going to inspire too much team pride) but a really nice colour mix has this team sitting in the middle for overall appeal out of the gate. Looking at it more myself I am sort of drawn to it more as it seems a perfect fit for the location of Minnesota, and could inspire some top quality chants for the fans as this teams fan base grew. The issue again? No team pages. No logos, no jerseys, how am I supposed to look at these more in depth! Come on people flesh out your pages! 7.5/10

– Pythons
- A very simple but striking logo for this team has them really playing it safe (in a good way). The Pythons lean on a tested combination of yellow and black which makes it easy for a lot of fans to adapt I am sure. Their Jerseys look like Steelers lite, so that could a draw for Pittsburgh fans immediately, but for those of us who follow Hockey its Bruin colours, and yuck. I don’t hate the look at all honestly and it’s a safe play, so really can’t hate on it to badly 7/10.

– Bird Dogs
- What in the Christ is a Bird dog? Isn’t that some sort of work out pose or something? Sadly as I went to look further into this in an attempt to sort out exactly what this is about, I find ANOTHER team without an info page or logos, or jerseys. Seriously people what in the hell are you doing as GM’s? The colour scheme isn’t terrible, but the theme and logo are super meh. 5.5/10

– Buccaneers
- The logo for this team is almost perfect for a minor league/ sim league team. It has some nice edging and the image it is trying to convey is really clear and cool. The main issue? I know teams now a days and trying to ‘stand out’ with some of their colour schemes (blue – red – white is ABUSED) but dear lord almighty. Pink,white and green? This thing is an assault on the eyes. I’d want to like the logo and theme, but I feel like seeing the jerseys moving past me too fast would give me seizures. 9/10 for logo, but colours take it down to a 5/10

– Seawolves
- I swear this was a bot team back in the day? But we back as a proper one now? Safe logo, Safe colour scheme (which could be taken to the next level a bit more IMO) has this team looking semi appealing. The issue again….team……pages…..what the heck people. Sim leagues that lack that visual flair (due to it being a heavy numbers game) need that extra bit of visual oomph to really draw people in and stand out and your team has nothing? Bleh. Regardless I can sort of imagine what it might be like to wear this teams jerseys, but still is forced 6/10

– Luchadores
- At first I was a bit meh about this team. The logo art – the colour combination (borderline Christmas themed) is just all sorts of underwhelming. BUT! After how many reviews complaining about the lack of the team pages, WE HIT THE JACK POT BOYS. Team History, Logos, jerseys (which are actually really nice!) really turned me around about this team. The green is pretty in your face with the logo (which isn’t my favourite) but is really toned down when applied to the jerseys. So they got that right at least. Still really a solid offering despite my concerns. 7.5/10

So I went to the wiki pages to try and find info about the teams, if some of the graded info below was somewhere else, I am sorry for missing it! Just ranked everyone equally from the same source of info.

– Hawks
History Pages – 10/10

Do I know GM’s? – Sort of?
- A team steeped in history and long term success from what I could see. I played for the Hawks way back in the day for a bit I think with Kwame before moving on to the Otters to finish his career. The team as a whole image wise is just sort of bland to me. The logo (even if original) is super uninspiring and sort of awkward when trying to place it on a jersey. As a helmet logo or should patch works great Id assume. Im not a huge fan of overly yellow themes, so they take some hits there for me. It knows the theme it is trying to do and goes all in which you have to respect though. A team I don’t think I’d be disappointed to play for? But on team image along couldn’t find myself hyped to put the Jersey on for.

– Butchers

- I have heard this expansion team has been a tire fire since it was created, I might be wrong, but yeah. The theme and logo are super weak sauce. I can see what they were trying to do with the team, but this feels like a DLC pack for Dead by Daylight more than it does a football team. Or like maybe even a Mutant League football team full of super mutants. The colour scheme could be used to great effect and the jerseys have some of that present but drop the ball a bit overall. If this team could piece things together and maybe re work some of the imaging they could be in a good spot, but colour me pretty unimpressed.

- Its like they tried to steal some of the 3rd jersey parts of the Colorado Avalanche, but maybe before it was a thing? Wait aren’t their 3rds like a throw back? Ah either way, it seems super similar for me. The totally blacked out figure is disappointing and really kind of awkward. The Jerseys were so disappointing to come across and I really hope they look to maybe revamp those and use their colours a little more. See the teams Record history, I said YIKES! 0-14 for 2 seasons in a row? That’s like Cleveland browns levels of bad. I think recently? They have done better, and I don’t HATE the theme, so I’d give the ol yeti a go.

- Let me just say this 1st. This teams overall Logo and colours are seriously REALLY sharp. I really like what they did with this teams overall image. With that said, as someone who loves his country (Canada) this team is America-ing all over your face from the get go and really isn’t my cup of tea. I get it that once that cheque crosses the table you probably won’t care about the teams image, but I feel a team that’s literally feeding off the AMERICA FREEDOM FEYUCK YAH! With stars and stripes being shoved up your ying yang wouldn’t really excite me to suit of for them every single game. So thumbs up for this teams look and feel, but its just not my bag….baby.

- Man o MAN! I wish I could find this teams Jerseys and clean logo imports. They really nailed this one. The name is a bit on the lame side (sailfish really?) but the colour scheme is dope as hell and the logo is really top notch. I know this is an expansion team and generally that’s the place where careers go to die for the first 5+ seasons, but man would I love suiting up in their threads. I know both GM’s from other leagues (maybe not personally in all cases) so that would help out as well. Seriously, this team is totally hype town for me, so I’d love to kick some bawls for these fellas long term come draft day.

- So I remember the Wraiths as one of those regular season champ teams, but always falling short in the playoffs? Still accurate? That aside, The logo has always been alright to me, enough it’s not a 6 or below, but not cool enough to be higher than a 7. What I do love is that bright blue mixed in with the main colour scheme. My one wish is that they would lean on that a bit more. It’s the perfect accept colour for that team and really should outline jersey names/numbers and be used for some creative striping down the sides. I couldn’t find jerseys for them sadly which could have taken this team to the next level, and the location is super weird. Id still be hyped about joining this team regardless.

- Wasn’t this the team that had like the biggest mutli scam ever? I remember that, all those championships at the start are like 100% with a * against them too? Well Its been awhile so I hope and assume the team has got past those things and it seems they changed the logo as well (thank god). I am not sure how into the rootin tootin cowboy shootin theme I am as a whole but the team has done a decent job creating a half decent brand to wear. The one theme I am finding out quick is a lot of teams wiki pages lack their jerseys on them or have none at all which is entirely disappointing. If this site is using a resource for something, it should probably attempt to be updated no? I mean people can only fantasize so much over moving dots for the sim (we are still using that one right?) Playing in the BBQ that is Arizona wouldn’t be idle all season long but it wouldn’t be the worst I feel.

- This team has a really dope logo, but is totally ruined by that grey colour tossed into it. Seriously its so close to really being a dope logo and scheme but that colour combo is yugga. That aside the logo is cool enough to warrant some real interest in the team and their one GM is kind of cool I guess. Another team with no jerseys on the wiki page or total all time record has me feeling super disappointed, but apparently by the banner up top they have won semi recently so that’s cool. Swap out that grey with something else with a little more pop and this team is top tier for me.

- I really did love the original feeling and idea with this team when bovo made them a thing back in the day. It’s truly one of your original concepts and ideas with striking colours (that no other team had at the time). The biggest quam I have with it, is the logo. My lord that thing is busy. It could be so much more if you just condensed it a bit and stream lined it, but as it feels like you are looking at a novel rather than a picture book. I’d love to see what their jerseys would look like with that colour scheme but alas, it’s not where to be found again. I wouldn’t say no to NOLA as Blewitt played there at the tail end of his career, but I have a feeling a certain GM wouldn’t even entertain the idea.

- I really have to commend these new expansion teams. They seriously hit their respective brandings out of the park. I am not really sure what a hahalua is, but it looks like a yeti of sorts? Hopefully it isn’t too hairy, cause I can’t imagine how brutal that would be trying to live in the heat. The colour scheme could really do something special if applied right to their jerseys and merchandise so that alone as me excited for what sort of threads I could boast about. Raven hasn’t really struck me as a super GM sort of user, but I’d be willing to give it a shot (he’s clearly been active here a lot). Mix in the ability to be able to set some good team records for seasons to come as a kicker? Count me in brotha.

- I get the simple logo, and always have, but its literally one of the most plain and uninspired things I have ever seen. Please for the love of god at least experiment with some other options. That aside, this team is Orange. Like not even the most major of their colours is Orange, I see the Otters and think Orange soda Orange. Orange you glad I pointed this out? Ive don’t he otters rounds already and nothing against the franchise or anything but I kind of want to try something different this time around, but still wouldn’t demand trades if I become an Otter. Sea otters > River otters.

- Oh San Jose. Honestly I don’t need to re cap their history because I feel like I already know it. A logo which is better than their OG one they had back in the day, still looks like something that was done in Paint. The colour scheme is incredibly meh and uninspiring leaving you sort of wanting more. I’ve done the SJ lap as well, and honestly, would prefer to not re trend ground again, but like I keep stating there is no single team I would say No too.
