The turns will be adjudicated at high noon US Eastern time. Each season will have 48 hours for players to write each other and plan. If 48 hours isn't enough, each period will have a 24 hour grace period for people who are undecided and haven't submitted orders. Retreat and build (winter) phases take less time at 24 hours only. Play will continue over weekends, but will be paused for major American holidays (I.e. X-mas and new years). Feel free to talk to any powers at any time during any phase of the game! Even Turkey and England can sometimes work together and spy for each other.

Once the game has begun, I'll start another thread for the play-by-play for the game as it develops. Feel free to talk in the other thread, but realize all the other powers will be watching :ph34r:... I'll try to add some light-hearted commentary.

This game can get intense! Remember: what happens in Diplomacy stays in Diplomacy! If you stab me, I will harbor absolutely no ill will to you. It's all in fun!

There's always the possibility people may drop out if it's not for them. I'll keep you all posted if that does indeed come to pass.

Also, if there's interested enough we could start up a second game.
